The character does not run even with the “CTRL” key by default. In addition, many orders cannot be reconfigured. While it was possible in Early Access. I do not understand!

By default run /sprint is mapped to R.Shift. If it does not work try to reset mapping to default. It works a ok on retail version which i own.

For me the Game is not starting. Obviously i cracked it. Does somebody have a solution? Thanks in advance.
@Errow Adding ” -oldgameui” to the shortcut target in the properties menu fixed this for me. Idk why the new UI crashes for me, but this fixed it.
Game not launching nothing happens.
This game isn’t worth is free or not. I have it on Steam but never touched it in years, even now that it’s out of early access. The AI in this is a total disgrace compared to the classic Half-Life (just running towards you like idiots), the bastardized Source Engine they use completely burned my U whenever I played it (even in the 3D main menu) and it looks totally dated by today’s standards.
The game don’t start (i cracked it…) Somebody know why? Thanx (Win 10 – 64 bit – 8Gb RAM – Hd Radeon 5700).
Crack don’t work proprely. Game stuck at the end of chapter 18. lasers doesn’t turn around a chest.

Do you get any crashes or errors?
Could you use hosts that ACTUALLY let you without paying. It defeats the purpose of cracking if I have to pay to it.
You could use MediaFire or Google Drive.

unfortunately i tried everything to install but the game is not working. after clicking bms.exe nothing happens…

Make a shortcut of bms.exe. Right-click properties on shortcut, then in Target: make sure it is “C:\INSTALLED GAME DIRECTORY\bms.exe” -game bms +developer 0 -steam
Also make sure Start in: is “C:\INSTALLED GAME DIRECTORY”
ED_alloc: no free edicts ???? into the xen world , fps lows and crash the game , any solutions ? and , how to enable console ?

can’t get it to launch either. win10, installed in default dir c:\progx86\…, added firewall rule, added ” -oldgameui” switch as well. no dice. doesn’t even enter running state in task mgr.

then install both vcredist and directX
after that, for me, the game didn’t crash on startup

Thanks. I only played a few seconds so far, but it seems to be working for me. When you run the installer, make sure you check the box next to “copy crack files into folder”. I’m pretty sure that is a necessary step and it isn’t checked by default. Also, if you want a custom resolution go to Steam > Properties > Launch Options and type – w -h .

What does “Cracking the game” consist of exactly? Kind of a dumb question, I know, but im new to this. I opened the codex-black.mesa.iso file and did the setup, then I installed everything in the _CommonRedist folder. Is there another step that im not aware of?
